Duckamere in Bramford to be Resurfaced

I’m pleased to confirm that Duckamere in Bramford will be resurfaced later this year as part of the Suffolk Highways Capital Programme.

Duckamere is a well-used residential road and is also home to Bramford Primary School. As a close, the road sees a significant amount of daily traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times, which inevitably takes its toll on the road surface over time.

This resurfacing work will help restore the condition of the carriageway and improve the experience for residents, parents, school staff, and visitors who use the road every day.

Investing in the maintenance of our roads is an important part of the county’s highways programme, ensuring that local roads remain safe and fit for purpose. Programmes like this allow Suffolk Highways to target roads where resurfacing will make the biggest difference for local communities.

Further details about the timing of the works will be confirmed closer to when the resurfacing is scheduled to take place.
