Open Letter to Residents

Tomorrow, residents across Gipping Valley will head to the polls.

Before voting begins, I wanted to write to you directly to say thank you — and to ask for your support so I can continue the job in hand.

Representing Gipping Valley over the last five years has been one of the greatest honours of my life. I have worked hard to be a visible, approachable and active local councillor who listens to residents and stands up for our communities.

There is still much more to do.

I am asking for your vote tomorrow so I can continue:

  • Opposing the expansion of Port One and standing up for local residents concerned about traffic, infrastructure and the impact on our area

  • Improving public transport

  • Tackling consistent flooding

  • Supporting our farmers and protecting valuable agricultural land from inappropriate development

  • Backing local businesses

  • Campaigning for better healthcare services and improved access to NHS provision closer to home

I know that trust in politics is earned, not given. Over the last five years, I have worked hard to earn that trust through action, visibility and determination.

I care deeply about our communities and about protecting the character of the place we call home; while ensuring we secure the investment and services local people deserve.

Tomorrow is an important opportunity to decide the future direction of Gipping Valley. If you believe in the work I have been doing and want me to continue standing up for our area, I would be incredibly grateful for your vote.
